As the festive season approaches, please take note of our operating hours and rental procedures for Christmas and New Year. We aim to ensure you have a seamless service for any vehicle rentals you have over the festive period.

Daily Rental Vehicles

Christmas Terminations, Off-Hire Times and New Reservations

Any termination requests for vehicles requiring collection must be submitted by 12.00pm on Monday 22^nd December 2025. We will only accept off hire requests for vehicles requiring collection up to 10:00am on Tuesday 23^rd December 2025.

For any collection requests received after these dates and times, the vehicle may not be collected and will remain on rent and charged until 8.00am on Monday 29^th December 2025.

Deliveries to start after Christmas must not start before 10.00am on Monday 29^th December 2025.

‍New Year Terminations, Off-Hire Times and New Reservations

Any termination requests for vehicles requiring collection must be submitted by 12:00pm on Monday 29^th December 2025. We will only accept off hire requests for vehicles requiring collection up to 10:00am on Tuesday 30^th December 2025.

For any collection requests received after these dates and times, the vehicle may not be collected and will remain on rent and charged until 8:00am on Friday 2^nd January 2026 (Monday 5^th January 2026 for Scotland).

Deliveries to start after New Year’s Day must not start before 10:00am on Friday 2^nd January 2026.

Please note that terminations, off hire times and reservations over the Christmas period for daily rental vehicles are different from Select Plus vehicles, as outlined below.

Select Plus Vehicles

Christmas and New Year Off-Hire Procedures  

Collection requests need to be received by 3.00pm on Tuesday 23^rd December 2025 and vehicles must be ready for collection no later than 12.00pm on Wednesday 24^th December 2025. If any off hires are received after 3.00pm on Tuesday 23^rd December 2025, the vehicle will remain on hire until 8.30am on Friday 2^nd January 2026.

Hire Extensions

Any hires with a TBA end date of Thursday 25^th December 2025 to Thursday 1^st January 2026 will remain on hire and be extended for 28 days.

New Hires After the Christmas Period

The earliest time we can guarantee delivery of new hires during or after the Christmas Holiday is on Monday 5^th January 2026.

Please note, these terms and schedules apply to all bookings and amendments made online or over the phone. Fleetondemand may be able to accommodate manual collections and returns to a branch, but this is subject to the opening hours of our partner suppliers. Fleetondemand can only advise on manual collections/returns within Fleetondemand office hours.
