As we enter the last few months of the year, Fleetondemand continues to grow out its team further. In this issue of FOD Futures we meet Ellie, Jamie, Emma & Donna who have joined our SDC & Finance teams. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of our new starters and wish them luck in their new careers.
Ellie Williams has joined our SDC team as a Trainee Supply Chain Administrator supporting Joanna Price. Ellie completed her A-levels in Business, Sociology & Psychology and moved on to work in a warehouse fulfilling orders for a toy company. After this she found her trainee position at Fleetondemand after seeing it was an innovative company and thought that it would be an exciting opportunity to be a part of.
In her spare time, Ellie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also is a keen reader and gym-goer. Ellie thinks she will do well at Fleetondemand, as it is an open and friendly environment, and hopes to progress into management someday.
Previously working at Medical Protection Society as a Medicolegal Consultant (supporting claims and cover for medical professionals), Jamie Hindle has now joined Fleetondemand as an SDC Billing Executive. Jamie was looking for a new challenge with a successfully growing company within a close proximity to his home. He finds that Fleetondemand offers a warm, welcome and friendly atmosphere where hard work is recognised.
Jamie enjoys travelling and walking to as many new places as possible but is also partial to a quiet night in front of the TV with a cold beer. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar as well as learning new instruments. He would like to progress to management in future to further his career.
Emma Flood, who previously worked at Zenith, has also joined our Service Delivery team as an SDC Executive. Emma found the position at Fleetondemand when she wanted to be closer to home. She finds the staff lovely and friendly and likes the building we are in.
Emma likes to go for walks in her spare time. She also enjoys watching Netflix shows & films, listening to music and meeting up with friends to eat out (Thai food is her favourite). Emma would like to progress within the company but would first like to get a sense of the progression paths available to her.
With 22+ years experience as a Credit Controller, Donna Harland has now joined Fleetondemand to share her expertise. She was looking for a new challenge within Credit Control, previously working in manufacturing companies. Donna finds Fleetondemand a ‘people’ company who truly value their employees and ideas. She is looking forward to putting her own stamp as role of Credit Controller.
Donna spends her weekends with her husband at their caravan in a small village in North Yorkshire called Boroughbridge. They travel there each Friday after work and spend the weekend relaxing. Donna also follows slimming world and attends their weekly image therapy and has lost a stone so far.
