We also provide bespoke, white-label technology solutions that help fleet management and rental companies to offer vehicle rental management services to their own customers. With the UK's largest availability of electric vehicles and partnerships across all major rental suppliers, we serve diverse organisations with complex travel policies and international requirements, including major corporates, healthcare providers, construction firms, and businesses across multiple sectors.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a customer orientated individual to join our Service Delivery team. In this role, you will provide a professional and friendly service for our customers, utilising communication channels such as telephone, email and live chat. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, proactive, and capable of handling various tasks related to vehicle rental activities.

Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday) on a rotating shift basis:

  • 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • 9:00am – 6:00pm

Location: Office-based 3 days per week, with the option to work remotely 2 days per week.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Accurately processing customers’ vehicle rental requirements within the agreed service level agreements  
  • Ensuring incoming calls take priority and manage customer queries in a timely and polite manner  
  • Managing vehicle hire reservations using implemented policies and processes
  • Dealing with customer service issues with follow-up and timely resolution  
  • Handling vehicle hire cancellations and amendments  
  • Checking reservations periodically by making outbound calls to ensure that suppliers have received and confirmed the reservation requests 
  • Reviewing current hires and communicate findings to clients and suppliers regarding extensions and terminations 
  • Processing change, extension, and cancellation requests in a timely manner 
  • Assisting in generating daily reports as required 
  • Building rapport and provide excellent, high quality, customer service and on-going support to both suppliers and customers 
  • Providing team updates to the SDC team in your field of expertise
  • Provide ongoing training to colleagues in all aspects of vehicle rental

Skills, Experience & Expertise:

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience, working in a contact center type of environment
  • Vehicle Rental Experience
  • Previous experience of speaking with customers
  • Excellent clear verbal and written communication and influencing skills 
  • Numerate and impeccable attention to details 
  • Reliable and flexible with the ability to adjust to the needs of the business 
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise 
  • Efficient time management, administration, and organisational skills 
  • Strong work and team ethics and self-motivated  
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programme, (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Proactive approach and a positive attitude 
  • Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Good negotiating skills
