Following the launch of our community release concept at the FOD Rental & Technology Summit held on the 15th October, we are now pleased to confirm some further details of how this will work.
Submission of ideas
From the 1st – 30th November, you will be able to submit new functionality ideas via your FOD system. Click the “community release” link that sits under the support icon on the right hand side of the screen. This will be there for you to use from 1st November.
This will take you to a system change request form where you can tell us about all the functionality you would like to see in the system. This can be anything from how a res page works to new billing or reports functionality. Please try and create one new ticket per idea to help us sort through all of your suggestions.
From early December we will have collated all of your suggestions into a voting page that will be accessible via the same “community release” link you used to submit your ideas. Voting will take place up to the 31st December, so make sure that you all get you votes in before then.
We’ll publish the results of the Community release in mid January 2015 so that you all know what to expect from our development runway in Q1 2015.
