Our technologies are used by leading automotive service providers such as leading car leasing and vehicle rental firms. Thousands of drivers use our technology every day for business use and travel.

Overview

The role will lead the day to day finance team operations to hit agreed KPIs, embed robust financial control processes, and support the CFO to drive finance functional improvement.

Responsibilities

Team leadership

  • Lead the finance team in line with agreed weekly priorities
  • Control system and bank software accesses effectively
  • Coordinate team social events to build morale

Financial reporting

  • Group Consolidated reporting delivered on time
  • Ensure Purchase and Sales ledgers are fully reconciled
  • Ensure Intercompany accounts are cleared down before month end
  • Ensure Payroll reconciliations are accurate
  • Ensure VAT return compliance is delivered
  • Manage auditor information requests and ensure compliance

Management account reporting

  • Deliver the production of the FOD Group reporting packs within agreed deadlines
  • Assist in production of Rolling forecasts and Business plans

Working capital management

  • Manage Daily Short term 13 week rolling cash flow forecasting accuracy
  • Ensure monthly direct debit runs are collected on time
  • Ensure supplier payment runs are approved by Board members

Projects

  • Support the upgrade to SAGE 200 as single platform
  • Support the implementation of new Financial processes
  • Support the implementation of Strategic scorecard and Portals
  • Support the setup of financial infrastructure to support European growth

Knowledge and Experience

  • Qualified ACCA / CIMA accountant
  • Working knowledge of SAGE 200, preferred
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills
  • Experience within a SME Finance team

Hours of Work

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, between the hours of 0830 – 1800.

Job type: Full-time.

Salary: £45,000.
