Vehicle hire business FleetEurope has been rebranded to Fleetondemand as part of its full integration into the newly incorporated FOD Mobility Group. The rebrand falls in line with a key focus for Fleetondemand on providing corporate vehicle rental services and technology to the domestic UK and international market.

A key synergy of the merger has been the consolidation of existing supplier partnerships with some of the world’s major vehicle rental suppliers, and a wide range of local, regional and specialist rental companies. Fleetondemand now offers its customers access to more vehicles, more locations, and more choice than any other rental provider in the industry.

Its international supplier network comprises 1,627,000 rental vehicles from 26,800 locations in 170 countries worldwide. This includes the UK’s largest network of over 600,000 vehicles from 2,200 branches to hire for one hour, one day, one week, one month or one year.

The integration has also seen the tech firm accelerate the growth of its Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions through the provision of its market leading Mobilleo application to FleetEurope’s client base. The desktop and smartphone app now integrates their vehicle rental services alongside all other forms of business travel including flights, taxis, trains, trams, tube, buses, car hire, car clubs, bike sharing, hotels, airport lounges and more.

Alongside the integration, Fleetondemand has started to roll out its next generation vehicle rental management system, powered by the Mobilleo MaaS platform. The new system integrates various ground transportation services, including car and van hire, car sharing, car clubs, taxi booking, chauffeur services, trains and a whole suite of public transportation providers, allowing customers to book and manage their vehicles worldwide.

Fleetondemand has also announced the launch of its new multilingual company website to coincide with the expansion of its services and technology into the European market. The first phase of its European growth strategy includes an initial presence in France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and The Netherlands.

Fleetondemand’s Founder and CEO, Justin Whitston commented:

“FleetEurope has proved to be an excellent acquisition for our business. We see vehicle hire sitting at the epicentre of Mobility as a Service solutions both domestically in the UK and Internationally. The name change refocuses our Fleetondemand proposition back into the domestic UK vehicle hire market, complimented by our wider MaaS solution Mobilleo.

“By bringing the two companies together we now offer a powerful suite of vehicle hire and mobility solutions for UK and international businesses, powered by the most advanced technology platform in today’s market. Although we have phased out the FleetEurope brand, we will continue to build on its outstanding reputation within the fleet industry for delivering exceptional service and creating longstanding customer relationships.”
